SEWSA 2021 Dissertation Grant

SEWSA is excited to announce the 2021 Dissertation Grant! This award is designed to assist graduate students who are members of SEWSA with research and professional development. Research should be consistent with the research mission of SEWSA to foster scholarship on and activism eliminating oppression and discrimination on the basis of sex, gender, race, age, religion, sexual orientation, ethnic background, physical ability, and class. The award is $1,000 and can be used for travel, books, supplies, and/or equipment. This grant began in 2011 and is awarded every other year.

To apply, submit a CV and a letter of application detailing your dissertation project and its significance in relationship to SEWSA's research mission to realize a socially just world free from oppression and discrimination. Applications should be submitted to info@sewsa.net with the subject line *Dissertation Grant Application.* Applications are due no later than Friday, March 5, midnight.
